Istanbul: Chairman of the Vietnamese National Assembly (NA) Tran Thanh Man met with Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Trkiye Numan Kurtulmus on April 17 morning (local time), as part of his attendance at the 152nd Inter-Parliamentary Union Assembly (IPU-152) and bilateral activities in Istanbul.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting between the two top legislators highlighted the importance of continued parliamentary cooperation and discussions on bilateral relations. Both leaders expressed their commitment to enhancing mutual understanding and cooperation in various fields, aiming to strengthen the ties between Vietnam and Trkiye.

The assembly provided an opportunity for both sides to discuss global and regional issues of mutual interest, emphasizing the role of parliamentary diplomacy in addressing international challenges.
