Top Vietnamese Leader Begins State Visit to New Zealand

Hanoi: General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and President To Lam and a high-ranking delegation of Vietnam arrived in Auckland on August 12 afternoon (local time), beginning their state visit to New Zealand from August 12 - 14 at the invitation of Governor-General of New Zealand Cindy Kiro.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the visit aims to strengthen diplomatic relations and explore opportunities for collaboration between Vietnam and New Zealand. The delegation's agenda includes meetings with key New Zealand officials to discuss bilateral ties and potential partnerships in various sectors. The visit underscores Vietnam's commitment to expanding its international relations and fostering mutual understanding with countries in the Asia-Pacific region.
