Hanoi: General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and President To Lam, accompanied by a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation, departed Hanoi on the morning of September 20. The delegation is set to participate in the high-level general debate of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA 81). Additionally, they will engage in bilateral activities in the United States and undertake a state visit to Canada, following an invitation from Canadian Governor General Louise Arbour. This significant international trip is scheduled from September 20 to 25.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the participation in UNGA 81 underscores Vietnam's commitment to engaging with international partners on pressing global issues.
