Hanoi: General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and President To Lam met with the President of the French Senate, G©rard Larcher, in Paris on September 11. This meeting was part of Lam's official visit to France, which also included his attendance at the International Space Summit. The visit and summit participation were at the invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron.

According to Vietnam News Agency, during the meeting, both leaders discussed strengthening bilateral relations and explored opportunities for cooperation in various sectors. The dialogue underscored the importance of collaboration in areas such as technology, trade, and cultural exchange. The meeting also highlighted the long-standing diplomatic ties between Vietnam and France, emphasizing mutual interests and shared goals on the international stage.
