Top Vietnamese Leader Receives Outgoing Bangladesh Ambassador

Hanoi: General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee and President To Lam hosted a reception in Hanoi on September 5 for outgoing Bangladesh Ambassador to Vietnam Mohammad Lutfor Rahman, who paid a farewell call upon the end of his working tenure in Vietnam.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting marked the conclusion of Ambassador Rahman's diplomatic mission in Vietnam. During the reception, President To Lam expressed his appreciation for the ambassador's contributions to strengthening the bilateral ties between Vietnam and Bangladesh. Ambassador Rahman, in turn, thanked the Vietnamese government and people for their support during his tenure.

The farewell meeting underscored the importance of continued cooperation and partnership between the two nations. Both leaders highlighted the achievements in trade, cultural exchange, and mutual support in regional and international forums. The ambassador's departure signifies a new chapter in Vietnam-Bangladesh relations, with hopes of further collaboration on shared interests.
