Hanoi: Tran Phong, a member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the central province of Khanh Hoa, has been appointed as the Secretary of the Khanh Hoa Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term. In addition to his new role, Phong also serves as the Chairman of the provincial People's Committee. The Politburo's decision to approve Tran Phong for this prominent position was officially handed over by Le Minh Hung, a member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, and Chairman of the Party Central Committee's Organisation Commission, during a ceremony held in Hanoi on April 2.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the appointment of Tran Phong marks a significant development in the leadership structure of Khanh Hoa province. With his extensive experience and previous roles within the Party, Phong is expected to bring a wealth of knowledge and leadership to the province as it navigates the upcoming term. His contributions as Deputy Secretary and Chairman of the provincial People's Committee have been integral to the region's progress, and this new role will further enable him to influence the strategic direction and governance of Khanh Hoa.
