Hanoi: Politburo Member, Chairman of the 15th National Assembly Tran Thanh Man has been selected as Chairman of the 16th National Assembly at the first session of the 16th legislature in Hanoi on April 6. With 491/491 NA deputies voting in favor, the 16th legislature passed a Resolution to elect Man to hold the position for the 2026-2031 term. The newly-elected NA Chairman then took the oath of office.
