Hanoi: A total of 21 out of 63 provinces and centrally-run cities nationwide no longer have temporary or dilapidated houses as of June 9, according to the Ministry of Ethnic and Religious Affairs. By June 7, authorities across the country had supported the repair or construction of 205,115 houses for disadvantaged households. Of these, 147,261 homes have been completed, while 57,854 are under construction.
According to Vietnam News Agency, this achievement is part of a broader initiative to improve living conditions for disadvantaged communities. The efforts to eliminate dilapidated housing have been significant, with extensive support provided to ensure that the affected families have adequate shelter.
