These venues serve not only as trading hubs but also as vibrant and distinctive cultural spaces featuring the customs, traditions, and unique identities of the Thai, Dan Lai, Kho Mu, and O Du ethnic minority groups. According to Vietnam News Agency, today, restoring and promoting the value of such kermises help not only foster community cohesion but also preserve cultural heritages in harmony with developing tourism and creating sustainable livelihoods for highland residents.
