Venezuela Seeks to Strengthen Ties with Vietnam Through Enhanced Cooperation

Caracas: Venezuela has expressed its intention to bolster its comprehensive partnership with Vietnam by enhancing political ties and promoting people-to-people and cultural exchanges. The country is also focused on accelerating the implementation of bilateral cooperation agreements established by the leaders of both nations. This intention was articulated during a meeting on June 11 between Blanca Eekhout, a member of the Central Committee of the ruling United Socialist Party of Venezuela and President of the Commission for the Development of Communes of the Venezuelan National Assembly, and Vietnamese Ambassador to Venezuela Vu Trung My.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting highlighted Venezuela's commitment to deepening its relationship with Vietnam. The discussions centered around not only political collaboration but also fostering stronger connections between the citizens of both countries and promoting cultural exchanges. This initiative marks a significant step towards solidifying the partnership between the two nations, building on the agreements already in place.

The emphasis on accelerating the implementation of existing cooperation agreements reflects both countries' desire to achieve tangible results from their partnership.
