Venezuelan Ruling Party Leader Hails Vietnam as Model for National Development

Hanoi: Vice President of the ruling United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) Jesus Faria has praised Vietnam's accomplishments during its Doi Moi (Renewal) process, citing the country as an effective model for national construction and development, Party building, and socio-economic growth. The remarks were made during a meeting with outgoing Vietnamese Ambassador to Venezuela Vu Trung My in Caracas on August 27. PSUV Politburo member in charge of external affairs, Tania Diaz, was also present at the meeting.

According to Vietnam News Agency, Faria emphasized the significance of learning from Vietnam's example in shaping Venezuela's future strategies for national development. The discussions highlighted Vietnam's experience in maintaining economic stability and fostering growth, which Faria believes could be beneficial for Venezuela. The meeting underscored the importance of bilateral relations and efforts to strengthen ties between Venezuela and Vietnam.
