It took three Vietnam War Army veterans eight months to cut through red tape to get a permit to hang an American Flag from a Garden State Parkway overpass. Fortunately, other people they hope to inspire to hang flags from New Jersey Turnpike and Garden State Parkway overpasses won’t have to wait as long because they can do the process online.
