Dong nai: Vice State President Vo Thi Anh Xuan, who is also Vice Chairwoman of the National Election Council, conducted an on-site inspection and held a working session with the Election Committee of Dong Nai province on February 6. This visit was part of the preparations for the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and the People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the Vice State President's inspection aimed to ensure that all necessary measures are being implemented for a smooth electoral process in Dong Nai. During her visit, she emphasized the importance of adhering to guidelines and ensuring transparency and fairness in the upcoming elections.

The working session also focused on addressing any potential challenges that may arise during the electoral process. The Election Committee of Dong Nai provided updates on their current preparations and outlined steps being taken to facilitate efficient and orderly elections.
