Paris: Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly (NA) Nguyen Thi Thanh attended the 50th session of the Francophone Parliamentary Assembly (APF-50) convened in Paris from July 9-13, reaffirming Vietnam’s active and constructive role within the Francophone community. This is the first time Vietnam’s National Assembly has participated in the event, which brought together over 550 delegates from 59 countries and territories, at vice-presidential level.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the session focused on fostering cooperation among Francophone countries and addressing global challenges. The participation of Vietnam’s National Assembly highlights the country’s commitment to the values and objectives of the Francophone community. The assembly provided a platform for dialogue and collaboration among member nations, emphasizing the importance of mutual understanding and cooperation.
