Ho chi minh: National flag carrier Vietnam Airlines has announced the launch of its first direct flight from Ho Chi Minh to Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark, marking the first direct air route between the countries. Starting December 15, the carrier will operate three weekly round-trip flights, using the wide-body Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. Flights will depart from HCM City every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, while return flights from Copenhagen will be available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

According to Vietnam News Agency, this new route aims to enhance connectivity between Vietnam and Denmark, promoting tourism and economic ties. The introduction of these flights is expected to facilitate travel for both business and leisure travelers, providing a more convenient option for passengers traveling between Southeast Asia and Northern Europe.
