Ho Chi Minh City:A thematic session titled 'Repositioning Vietnam and ASEAN in Global Value Chains' took place on October 27 during the Autumn Economic Forum 2026. The event was organized by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee in collaboration with the World Economic Forum.

According to Vietnam News Agency, participants at the session discussed various challenges and solutions aimed at enhancing the resilience and future readiness of Vietnam and the ASEAN region in the global value chains.

The discussions were part of a broader effort to strategically reposition Vietnam and ASEAN countries to ensure stronger integration and participation in the global economy.
