Canberra: The 10th Strategic Diplomacy-Defence Dialogue between Vietnam and Australia was held in Canberra on August 5. The event was attended by senior officials from both nations, aiming to discuss and strengthen diplomatic and defence relations.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the Vietnamese delegation was led by Nguyen Manh Cuong, a member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, alongside Major General Duong Quy Nam, Director of the Institute for Defence International Relations under the Ministry of National Defence. Representing Australia were Deputy Secretary of Foreign Affairs and Trade Michelle Chan and Deputy Secretary of Defence Hugh Jeffrey. The dialogue served as a platform for both countries to enhance cooperation in diplomacy and defence.
