Sofia:Vietnamese Ambassador to Bulgaria Nguyen Thi Minh Nguyet recently met with Bulgarian Minister of Agriculture and Food Plamen Abrovski to explore ways to enhance agricultural cooperation between the two nations.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the discussions focused on translating the strategic partnership between Vietnam and Bulgaria into tangible outcomes. The Bulgarian side emphasized the opportunities for collaboration in areas such as agricultural trade, scientific research, training, and technology transfer.

Additionally, Bulgaria expressed a willingness to share its expertise in sustainable agriculture, forest management, combating illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing, as well as in crop cultivation, livestock farming, and developing climate-resilient plant varieties.
