Hanoi: The third defence policy dialogue between Vietnam and Canada occurred in Hanoi on February 20, chaired by Vietnamese Deputy Minister of National Defence Sen. Lt. Gen. Hoang Xuan Chien and his Canadian counterpart Stefanie Beck.
According to Vietnam News Agency, this dialogue marks a continuation of bilateral efforts to strengthen defence cooperation between the two countries. The discussions focused on enhancing mutual understanding and exploring opportunities for collaboration in areas of security and defence. Both parties expressed commitment to further developing their defence relationship through ongoing dialogues and joint initiatives.
