Brussels:A Letter of Intent on Education and Training was signed between the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training and the European Commission on October 22, marking a significant development in bilateral educational cooperation.

According to Vietnam News Agency, this agreement was signed during the official visit of General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and President To Lam to the European Union. Vietnamese Minister of Education and Training Hoang Minh Son and EC Executive Vice-President for Social Rights and Skills, Quality Jobs and Preparedness Roxana Minzatu were the signatories of this landmark document.

This Letter of Intent represents the first standalone agreement on education and training between Vietnam and the EU, underscoring the importance both parties place on collaboration in these fields.
