Hanoi: Vietnamese Deputy Minister of National Defence Senior Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien and Italian Undersecretary of State for Defence Matteo Perego di Cremnago co-chaired the 5th Vietnam – Italy Defence Policy Dialogue in Hanoi on July 2.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the two nations engaged in discussions aimed at enhancing bilateral military cooperation. The dialogue served as a platform for both countries to exchange views on regional security issues and explore opportunities for future collaboration in defense.

This event marks a continued effort by Vietnam and Italy to strengthen their defense relationship and work closely on issues of mutual interest.
