Vietnam and Russia Aim to Enhance Strategic Partnership

Moscow: Vietnam and Russia are set to enhance their comprehensive strategic partnership following a political consultation between Deputy Foreign Minister Le Thi Thu Hang and her Russian counterpart Andrey Rudenko. The meeting, held at the deputy foreign ministerial level in Moscow on August 21, was part of the ongoing cooperation plan between the two foreign ministries.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the two officials reviewed the progress of bilateral relations since their last consultation in Hanoi in February 2025. They discussed specific strategies and measures to overcome challenges and boost cooperation between their countries and foreign ministries. Both parties agreed to work closely on preparations for high-level delegation exchanges, especially those planned for the remaining months of 2026.
