Cape Town:Vietnam and South Africa are exploring ways to increase their trade and investment potential, focusing on their complementary strengths in manufacturing, technology, energy, agriculture, and mineral processing.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the Vietnam-South Africa Business Forum, held in Cape Town on October 2, emphasized these opportunities during the official visit of Vietnam's National Assembly Vice President Nguyen Hong Dien to South Africa.
Vice President Dien also engaged with representatives of the Vietnamese community in Western Cape before departing for Tanzania to participate in the 153rd Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union.
