Minsk: General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee To Lam and President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko signed a joint statement on the establishment of the two countries’ strategic partnership. The signing took place on May 12, following their talks in Minsk, which was part of General Secretary Lam’s state visit to Belarus.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the discussions between the two leaders centered on enhancing bilateral relations and exploring opportunities for cooperation in various sectors. The signing of the joint statement marks a significant step in strengthening the diplomatic and economic ties between Vietnam and Belarus.
