Vung tau: The Vietnam-Cambodia Friendship Association and the Cambodia-Vietnam Friendship Association held their fourth joint conference for the 2022-2027 tenure in Vung Tau ward, Ho Chi Minh City, on May 25. The conference aimed to reaffirm the commitment of both countries to enhance traditional friendship and comprehensive cooperation. The meeting was jointly led by Vice Chairwoman of Vietnam's National Assembly, Nguyan Th? Thanh, who serves as President of the Vietnam-Cambodia Friendship Association, and Samdech Men Sam An, Vice President of the Cambodian People's Party. Sam An also holds the positions of President of the National Council of the Solidarity Front for Development of the Cambodian Motherland and President of the Cambodia-Vietnam Friendship Association.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the event served as a platform for both associations to discuss strategies and initiatives to further strengthen diplomatic ties through people-to-people diplomacy. The leaders emphasized the importance of ongoing collaboration and mutual support in various fields, highlighting the role of the friendship associations in fostering understanding and cooperation between the two nations.
