Hanoi: The Vietnam Immigration Department under the Ministry of Public Security and China’s National Immigration Administration recently co-organised a conference on November 4 to assess their joint efforts in addressing illegal cross-border movements over the last six months.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the conference served as a platform for both countries to evaluate the outcomes of their collaborative actions and to discuss strategies for enhanced cooperation in curbing illegal activities across their borders. The meeting highlighted the importance of continued vigilance and coordination between the two nations in maintaining border security.
The joint initiative reflects the commitment of Vietnam and China to uphold lawful immigration processes and to thwart any activities that could undermine regional stability. The collaboration between the two immigration bodies is seen as a significant step towards strengthening border management and ensuring the safety and security of their respective countries.
