Havana: Visiting Vietnamese Minister of Justice Nguyen Hai Ninh and his Cuban counterpart Oscar Manuel Silvera Martnez have signed an agreement on a technical assistance project aimed at enhancing the Cuban Ministry of Justice’s capacity in developing and implementing laws. This agreement follows recent talks held in Havana between the two ministers.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the agreement was signed during a working visit by a Vietnamese delegation led by Ninh from August 11-12. The visit was part of ongoing efforts to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the judicial field between Vietnam and Cuba. During his time in Cuba, Ninh was also received by First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba Central Committee and President of Cuba, Miguel Daz-Canel Bermºdez. The discussions focused on bolstering judicial collaboration and sharing expertise to support legal development in Cuba.
