Gyeongju: The ‘Vietnam Day’ not only showcases the country, its people, history, and culture to Korean friends but also underscores the mutual affection and understanding that form the foundation for sustainable cooperation between the two countries, State President Luong Cuong said on October 30. The State leader made the statement while attending the “Vietnam Day”, co-organised in Gyeongju city by Gyeongsangbuk province, the Republic of Korea (RoK)’s Saemaul Undong Foundation, and the Vietnamese Embassy in the RoK to mark the 20th anniversary of the internationalisation of the Saemaul Undong (New Village) Movement.
According to Vietnam News Agency, this event aims to strengthen the ties between Vietnam and Korea by highlighting the shared values and collaborative opportunities between the localities of both nations. The celebration serves as a platform for fostering deeper connections and developing sustainable partnerships, reflecting the growing relationship between the two countries.
