Hanoi: Vietnam welcomes and encourages US enterprises to expand their investment in high-tech industries and other sectors with high added value, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung said while receiving Jeff Place, Chief Supply Chain Officer of Coherent Corp., in Hanoi on June 26.
According to Vietnam News Agency, Deputy PM Dung highlighted the potential for growth and collaboration between Vietnam and US companies in high-tech sectors. He emphasized the importance of developing industries that offer substantial added value, which aligns with Vietnam's economic development goals.
In the meeting, Jeff Place expressed Coherent Corp.'s interest in exploring investment opportunities within Vietnam. He noted the country's strategic location and skilled workforce as key factors that make Vietnam an attractive destination for high-tech industry investments.
