Paris: The opening ceremony of the Vietnam Film Week – The Journey of Light took place at Le Grand Rex, the largest cinema in Europe and a cultural icon of Paris, on the evening of December 5. The event kicked off with the screening of ‘Tu chien tren khong’ (Hijacked), attracting a large number of Vietnamese and international artists, directors, filmmakers, and an audience of 2,700 from 23 countries.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the event aims to celebrate Vietnamese cinema and showcase its contributions to the global film industry. The film week is set to feature a variety of screenings and discussions, offering attendees a chance to engage with filmmakers and explore the themes presented in Vietnamese films.
