Vietnam Finish Third at 33rd SEA Games

Bangkok: The 33rd SEA Games officially wrapped up at the Rajagangmala Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. The Vietnamese sports team brought home 87 golds, 81 silvers, and 110 bronzes, ranking third overall after the host Thailand and Indonesia.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the Vietnamese athletes delivered a strong performance across various sports disciplines, contributing to the country’s impressive medal tally. The event witnessed participation from numerous Southeast Asian nations, fostering competitive spirit and regional camaraderie.

The host nation, Thailand, topped the medal table, showcasing dominance in several categories. Indonesia followed closely, securing the second position. Vietnam’s third-place finish highlights the country’s growing prowess in the regional sports arena.

The SEA Games concluded with a closing ceremony that celebrated the achievements of athletes and the spirit of sportsmanship. The next edition of the SEA Games is anticipated to be held in another Southeast Asian nation, continuing the tradition of fostering unity and excellence through sports.
