Athens: A business networking dialogue connecting the northern province of Lang Son with the Greek business community has been held by the Vietnamese Embassy in Greece, drawing more than 70 delegates. Participants included a delegation from Lang Son led by Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Hoang Quoc Khanh, representatives of the Greek Foreign Ministry in charge of international cooperation with businesses, leaders of associations and chambers of commerce and industry, the Hellenic-ASEAN Business Council, and Greek businesses operating in trade, investment, agriculture, education and culture.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the event aimed to enhance subnational cooperation between Vietnam and Greece by fostering direct communication and collaboration among business leaders and government officials. The dialogue provided a platform for sharing insights on potential areas of partnership and investment opportunities, particularly in sectors such as trade, agriculture, education, and culture.
The Vietnamese delegation, headed by Hoang Quoc Khanh, emphasized the strategic importance of building strong ties with Greek businesses to promote economic growth and cultural exchange. Similarly, Greek officials and business leaders expressed a keen interest in exploring new avenues for cooperation with Vietnam, highlighting the mutual benefits of such partnerships.
As part of the networking dialogue, delegates engaged in discussions to identify challenges and opportunities in bilateral trade relations. The event also served as a venue for participants to establish direct contacts and initiate collaborative projects that could further strengthen the economic and cultural bonds between the two regions.
