Vietnam Highly Values Win-Win Economic, Commercial Cooperation with US: Deputy PM

Hanoi: Vietnam always values and promotes fair and mutually beneficial economic and commercial cooperation with the US, while striving to create the most stable and favourable business environment for the business community in general, and for US companies in particular, Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son has said. Addressing the US-Vietnam Business Summit 2025, held in Hanoi on November 12 under the theme ‘A new era of development for mutually beneficial commercial relations,’ Son stressed that in a world full of uncertainties, only trust can foster cooperation, only cooperation can lead to prosperity, and it is through prosperity that a sustainable future can be built.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the summit focused on enhancing bilateral ties and exploring new opportunities for economic collaboration between the two nations. The event gathered key stakeholders from both countries, including government officials, business leaders, and industry experts, aiming to discuss strategies that can strengthen economic links and address potential challenges in the evolving global market.

Deputy Prime Minister Son highlighted Vietnam’s commitment to maintaining a transparent and open market, which he believes is essential for attracting foreign investment and fostering a robust economic partnership with the US. He reiterated the importance of trust in building cooperation, which he sees as a foundation for achieving long-term prosperity and a sustainable future for both countries.

The summit also provided a platform for dialogue on various issues such as trade policies, investment opportunities, and technological advancements.
