New delhi: A high-level delegation from Vietnam’s Ministry of Ethnic and Religious Affairs, led by Minister Dao Ngoc Dung, visited India from March 17-19. The visit was aimed at enhancing bilateral cooperation in the areas of religion and ethnic minority affairs, and the delegation participated in the Bharat Tribes Fest 2026 in New Delhi.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the visit included discussions on shared challenges and opportunities in managing ethnic and religious affairs. The delegation engaged with Indian counterparts to explore collaborative initiatives that could benefit both nations in these sectors. The visit is seen as an important step in strengthening the ties between Vietnam and India, particularly in promoting mutual understanding and cooperation on issues related to ethnic minorities and religious communities.
