Hanoi: The Vietnam International Travel Mart (VITM Hanoi 2025) officially commenced in Hanoi on April 10, focusing on the theme ‘Developing Green Destinations – Elevating Vietnamese Tourism’. This year’s event boasts over 450 booths representing more than 600 organizations and businesses. Participants hail from 56 Vietnamese provinces and cities, alongside representatives from 16 countries and territories. The emphasis on green tourism is evident, with exhibitors presenting a variety of eco-friendly products and experiences.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the event features a range of activities designed to promote sustainable tourism practices. A highlight is the forum on green destinations, where experts discuss the future of eco-friendly travel. Additionally, award ceremonies will recognize outstanding tourism businesses and individuals for their contributions in 2024. The event also includes promotion conferences aimed at showcasing the unique offerings of different localities.
The VITM Hanoi 2025 is being held at the ICE International Exhibition Centre in Hanoi and will continue until April 13. The exhibition serves as a platform for the tourism industry to exchange ideas and foster collaborations that will further elevate Vietnamese tourism on the global stage.
