Tokyo: A delegation of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV), led by Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang, Member of the Political Bureau and Chairman of the Central Council for Theoretical Studies, held the 12th theoretical exchange with the Japanese Communist Party (JCP) in Tokyo on August 27-28. The discussions centered on the vitality of communism in the digital era and the emerging challenges posed by advances in science, technology, and artificial intelligence (AI).

According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting aimed to address how technological advancements are reshaping the ideological landscape and the ways in which communist parties can adapt to these changes. Both parties shared insights on integrating digital tools while maintaining core communist principles.
