Vietnam, Japan Ink Strategic Oyster Industry Partnership

Hiroshima: The Vietnam Fisheries Society and Kunihiro Inc., a leading Japanese oyster producer and processor, have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to advance cooperation in the fisheries sector. The agreement was formalized on April 23 at Kunihiro’s headquarters in Hiroshima prefecture, with representatives from both countries and relevant agencies in attendance. The Trade Office at the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan was instrumental in facilitating this partnership.

According to Vietnam News Agency, this strategic partnership aims to enhance collaboration between Vietnam and Japan in the oyster industry. The agreement is expected to foster knowledge exchange and technological advancements, benefiting both countries’ fisheries sectors.
