Hanoi: The eighth Vietnam-Laos-Cambodia Children's Festival, themed "Circle of Friendship," commenced in Ho Chi Minh City on July 28. The festival brings together 120 delegates from the three neighboring countries. Additionally, the event welcomes 100 children from Ho Chi Minh City who have participated in earlier editions of the festival and exchange programs with Laos' Champasak province.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the festival aims to foster connections and understanding among children from Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia. The gathering provides an opportunity for young participants to engage in cultural exchanges and strengthen bonds with their peers from the region. The festival highlights the commitment of these nations to cultivate a spirit of friendship and collaboration among future generations.
