Hanoi: Vietnam and Laos have agreed to further enhance their collaboration in political theory research and personnel training, aiming to strengthen the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between the two neighboring nations. During a working visit to Vientiane on August 4, a delegation from the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics (HCMA), led by its Director Doan Minh Huan, who is also a Politburo member, engaged in a meeting with leaders of the Theory Council of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP) Central Committee. The meeting was led by Politburo member and Council President Kikeo Khaykhamphithoune, focusing on preparations for the upcoming theory conference between the two Parties and future cooperation directions.
According to Vietnam News Agency, this meeting marks a pivotal step in reinforcing the partnership in political education and training, emphasizing the importance of shared ideological values and strategic interests. The discussions are expected to pave the way for upcoming collaborative projects and initiatives that will benefit both countries in terms of governance and political strategy development.
