Ho chi minh city: Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son on November 25 met Saysana Sitthiphone, Lao Deputy Minister of Technology and Communications, on the sidelines of the 2025 Autumn Economic Forum in Ho Chi Minh City to discuss orientations for strengthening bilateral cooperation in information technology, digital infrastructure development, and digital connectivity in the new period.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting focused on exploring new avenues for collaboration between the two nations in the realm of digital transformation. Both officials emphasized the importance of enhancing technological ties to foster economic growth and development. The discussions aimed to set a framework for future projects that will bolster digital infrastructure and connectivity, which are critical for advancing both countries’ technological capabilities.
