Vientiane: A delegation from the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee’s Organisation Commission held talks with their Lao counterparts in Vientiane on August 19. The Vietnamese delegation was led by Nguyen Thanh Tam, member of the CPV Central Committee and deputy head of the commission, while the Lao delegation was headed by Boudsadi Thanameung, member of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (LPRP) Central Committee and deputy head of the committee’s organisation commission.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the discussions aimed to enhance cooperation in party-building efforts between the two nations. Both sides shared experiences and strategies in organisational work, strengthening the foundation for future collaboration. The talks reflect the ongoing commitment of Vietnam and Laos to support one another in political matters, underscoring the close ties between the two parties.
