Hanoi: Deputy Minister of National Defence Sen. Lieut. Gen Hoang Xuan Chien and Philippine Undersecretary of National Defence Irineo C. Espino co-chaired the seventh Vietnam-Philippines defence policy dialogue in Hanoi on November 26. The dialogue concluded with the signing of its minutes and a Terms of Reference to increase cooperation in military medicine.

According to Vietnam News Agency, the dialogue focused on enhancing bilateral defence cooperation. The signing of the Terms of Reference marks a significant step in strengthening ties between the two nations, particularly in the area of military medicine. This development is expected to enhance collaborative efforts in addressing shared challenges and promoting mutual interests in defence.
