Vientiane: The Vietnam People’s Army has committed to providing comprehensive support to Laos for the successful execution of the parade and ceremony commemorating the 50th anniversary of its National Day, which spans from December 2, 1975, to 2025. This announcement was made by Deputy Minister of National Defence, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Truong Thang, during a courtesy visit to Lao Minister of National Defence, Senior Lieutenant General Khamliang Outhakaysone, in Vientiane on November 20.

According to Vietnam News Agency, this pledge from Vietnam underscores the strong bilateral relations between the two nations and highlights Vietnam’s readiness to assist Laos in ensuring that the National Day celebrations are conducted smoothly. The collaboration is expected to encompass logistical support and strategic planning, aimed at enhancing the ceremonial aspects of the event.
