Geneva: Chairman of the Vietnamese National Assembly (NA) Tran Thanh Man emphasized Vietnam’s commitment to fostering its relationship with Ireland, highlighting the importance of friendship and multifaceted cooperation, especially in the parliamentary sphere. NA Chairman Man’s remarks came during a meeting with Verona Murphy, Ceann Comhairle (Speaker) of D¡il ‰ireann, the lower house of the Oireachtas of Ireland, held on July 29 in Geneva, Switzerland. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the sixth World Conference of Speakers of Parliament.
According to Vietnam News Agency, Chairman Man reiterated Vietnam’s consistent policy of valuing its ties with Ireland, aiming to enhance collaboration across various sectors. The discussion between the two parliamentary leaders underscored the shared commitment to strengthening bilateral relations and exploring new opportunities for cooperation that benefit both nations.
