Vietnam Reinforces Strong Ties with Laos, Says Party Official.

Hai Phong: Vietnam attaches importance to strengthening its great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation with neighbouring Laos, stated Politburo member Tran Cam Tu on December 5. Hosting a delegation of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Youth Union (LPRYU) Central Committee led by its Secretary Monxay Laomuasong in Hanoi, Tu, permanent member of the Secretariat of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee and head of the committee’s Inspection Commission, expressed gratitude for the valuable assistance the Party, State, and people of Laos have given to Vietnam during its past struggle for independence, as well as current national construction efforts.

According to Vietnam News Agency, Tran Cam Tu emphasized the enduring commitment of Vietnam to strengthen the robust relationship it shares with Laos. The meeting highlighted the historical bonds and mutual support that have long characterized the Vietnam-Laos relationship, which remains a cornerstone of Vietnam’s foreign polic
