Busan: Vietnamese Consul General in Busan Doan Phuong Lan met with CEO of the Busan Centre for Creative Economy and Innovation (BCEC) Kim Yong-woo on July 16 to discuss ideas that open the Vietnamese market to startups from the southeastern region of the Republic of Korea (RoK) while tightening bilateral innovation links.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting focused on strategies to enhance collaboration between Vietnamese and Korean startups, aiming to create a more integrated startup ecosystem. Both parties explored potential opportunities for Korean startups to enter the Vietnamese market, leveraging innovation and technology to foster economic growth.
The discussions are seen as a significant step towards strengthening the economic ties between Vietnam and the RoK, with a particular emphasis on fostering creative industries and supporting entrepreneurial ventures. The collaboration is expected to pave the way for increased investment and knowledge exchange between the two countries.
