Hanoi: Vietnamese Ambassador to Egypt Nguyen Nam Duong had a working session with Egypt's Red Sea Governor Walid Al Barqi on July 11, discussing measures to strengthen economic, trade and investment and logistics cooperation between Vietnamese localities and Red Sea Governorate. Later the same day, Duong and Abdelgelyl co-chaired the Vietnam-Egypt Economic Partnership: Growth and Opportunities forum, which attracted strong interest from businesses in the Red Sea Governorate seeking closer cooperation with Vietnamese partners.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the forum highlighted the mutual benefits of enhancing economic ties between Vietnam and the Red Sea Governorate. Businesses from the region expressed a keen interest in exploring new opportunities and fostering partnerships with Vietnamese counterparts to boost trade and investment activities. The focus was on creating a conducive environment for collaboration in various sectors, including logistics, which is pivotal for strengthening the economic relationship between the two regions.
The discussions also underscored the commitment of both parties to facilitate smoother trade routes and investment channels, which would contribute to the economic growth of both Vietnam and the Red Sea Governorate.
