Vietnam Seeks to Strengthen Cybersecurity Cooperation with European Business Community

Hanoi: Minister of Public Security General Luong Tam Quang called for strengthened information exchange to support the prevention and combat of crime and legal violations, particularly in economic, trade and investment activities in Vietnam, while meeting with Jens Rubbert, Chairman of the EU-ASEAN Business Council (EU-ABC).

According to Vietnam News Agency, the meeting in Hanoi focused on enhancing cybersecurity cooperation between Vietnam and the European business community. General Luong Tam Quang emphasized the importance of collaboration in information exchange to effectively address issues related to economic, trade, and investment activities. The objective is to prevent and combat crime and legal violations, which are critical for maintaining a secure and stable business environment in Vietnam.

The discussion underlined the mutual benefits of such cooperation, as both parties aim to bolster cybersecurity measures.
