Hong kong: The Hong Kong International Food Expo PRO 2026 (HKTDC Food Expo PRO 2026) commenced in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region on August 13, hosting over 1,850 exhibitors from more than 30 countries and territories. The event has become a significant platform for global food producers to showcase their products and forge international partnerships.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the Vietnamese Consulate General and Vietnam Trade Office in Hong Kong collaborated with several companies to establish a joint pavilion at the expo. This pavilion is focused on promoting Vietnamese agricultural products, including coffee, bird's nest, dried fruits, rice, and rice-based products, to both Hong Kong consumers and international partners. The initiative aims to enhance the visibility of Vietnamese farm goods in foreign markets and strengthen trade relations.
The participation of Vietnamese enterprises at the expo is a strategic move to tap into the lucrative Hong Kong market and beyond. By showcasing a variety of traditional and innovative agricultural products, Vietnam is positioning itself as a key player in the international agricultural sector, with the potential to expand its export footprint in Asia and other regions.
