Hanoi: Vietnam’s Embassy and representative offices in France held the “ASEAN Night” event on February 19, hosted by the ASEAN Committee in Paris (ACP). Held at the InterContinental Le Grand Hotel, the event brought together representatives from all ASEAN nations, along with French and international guests, to celebrate the region’s cultural diversity and strengthen diplomatic ties.
According to Vietnam News Agency, the “ASEAN Night” event was a significant occasion aimed at promoting cultural understanding and cooperation among Southeast Asian nations and their international partners. The event featured cultural exhibitions, traditional performances, and culinary presentations, highlighting the rich heritage and traditions of ASEAN member countries. This gathering provided a platform for dialogue and exchange, fostering goodwill and collaboration among the participating nations.
The ACP, responsible for organizing the event, emphasized the importance of cultural diplomacy in enhancing mutual respect and understanding between the ASEAN region and global communities.
